Valentina Valente

Valentina Valente is an artist and lives and works near Stuttgart. Even as a teenager, she developed a strong interest in art, especially Pop Art. Her first works were created during this time.

Her enthusiasm for art and vibrant colors continues to shape her work to this day. and forms the basis of their artistic practice.

Color, Form & Pop Art

A central element in Valente's work is the interplay of clear forms. and intense colors. Neon colors, in particular, play an important role. and give the images an immediate visual presence.

Her works appear direct and energetic, yet at the same time consciously composed. Pop culture references are not used for illustrative purposes. but translated into an independent, contemporary visual language.

Collage & Image Composition

In addition to painting, Valentina Valente works with collages made from newspapers, Magazines and comics. These fragments are integrated into the pictorial space. and enter into a dialogue with color and form.

This results in multi-layered works in which painting and collage are combined. supplement and condense. The images oscillate between Pop Art, graphic clarity and personal expression.
