Alfred Kainz

Alfred Kainz comes from a family of church and art painters. As a stone sculptor, he moves in his work between representational and abstract motifs and combines traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design language.

His works are frequently present in public spaces. Among other things, he was responsible for the design of altar areas. in Ascholtshausen and Adertshausen as well as the memorial for those murdered and killed Sinti and Roma at the memorial site of the former Flossenbürg concentration camp.
